Requirements
What we're looking for
French proficiency required, with the ability to communicate, understand and write confidently at a professional level.
Additional languages would be highly advantageous.
Strong analytical skills.
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role carrying out comparable responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of Oracle.
Able to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously and effectively.
Quick to adapt to new processes and ways of working.
Well-organised and methodical, with a structured approach to administrative activities.
The role
We are looking for an Accountant & Controller to join our Finance team. The role combines accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, controlling and reporting activities, supporting the business in monitoring financial performance and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
What you'll do
- Perform monthly Balance Sheet account reviews and reconciliations.
- Analyze and investigate accounting variances and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the accounting system.
- Review and validate PR-PO accounting and account coding, ensuring expenses are correctly recorded.
- Review and adjust Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform detailed expense analysis, identifying variances and providing explanations.
- Monitor and analyze Revenue and Cost performance.
- Prepare and monitor provisions for penalties and other relevant accruals.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of Forecast activities.
- Prepare and analyze Technical Service COGS data.
- Prepare and deliver financial reporting through Hyperion.
- Support the analysis of financial results and key performance indicators.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders to support decision-making.
- Perform BPS follow-up at customer level.
- Monitor and analyze Trading Profit by customer.
- Identify significant variances and trends and coordinate the necessary follow-up with the relevant stakeholders.
