Requirements

What we're looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience in works, renovations, technical maintenance, or project management in retail.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and ability to adapt to new tools.

  • Experience in interpreting plans and setting out.

  • Capacity for organization and supplier coordination.

  • Availability for regular travel throughout Spain and Portugal.

  • Autonomy, initiative, and monitoring capacity.

Nice to have

  • Experience in retail, especially in the openings and renovations of small and medium-sized commercial premises.

  • Real experience in managing works and opening licenses, responsible declarations, and responding to their requirements.

  • Basic knowledge of commercial installations and their maintenance.

  • Experience in contract commercial furniture and manufacturing/assembly plans.

  • Education in Engineering, Architecture, Technical Architecture, Building Degree, Drafting, or similar.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, and project management tools.

The role

We are looking to hire a Works and Maintenance Technician to support the Works and Maintenance Department of Sabor a España in the management of new openings, premises renovations, and the maintenance of our network of establishments.

The position combines technical works management, CAD drawing, supplier coordination, incident resolution, and the monitoring of licenses and administrative files. It will offer progressive development under mentorship until a high degree of autonomy is reached.

What you'll do

  • Technical support for business development, works, premises renovations, and future expansion openings.

  • Site surveys, setting out, and the preparation/modification of plans in AutoCAD 2D.

  • Preparation and review of measurements and budgets for works and furniture.

  • Schedule monitoring, and coordination of trades, contractors, and suppliers.

  • Management and monitoring of establishment incidents.

  • Coordination of specialized companies and technicians.

  • Control of actions, budgets, and incident closure.

  • Support in preventive maintenance.

  • Basic knowledge of installations: HVAC, electricity, plumbing, data, and extraction.

  • Organization and updating of technical documentation.

  • Monitoring of works and activity licenses and existing files.

  • Management of requirements, corrections, and deadline control.

  • Coordination with administrations, external technicians, and signing professionals.

  • Expense and invoicing control.
