Descripción

The role will be responsible for supervising and coordinating communications services provided by external vendors and telecommunications carriers, leading technology projects, and managing the budget of the area.
The position will act as the liaison between functional teams, service providers, telecommunications carriers,
security teams, and technical teams, ensuring service quality, SLA compliance, technological evolution of the
communications landscape, and the successful execution of strategic projects.
This is not intended to be a hands-on operational administration role, although a strong technical understanding
of enterprise networking, telecommunications, connectivity, unified communications, and network security
environments is required.

Roles:

* IT Service Management: Supervise and coordinate enterprise communications services delivered by external
providers, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Internet connectivity, remote access, voice, and unified
communications. Ensure service quality, operational stability, network availability, and compliance with agreed
SLAs and KPIs. Act as the main coordination point for critical incidents, escalations, planned maintenance,
capacity issues, and service improvements, ensuring business continuity and alignment with company
expectations.
* Vendor Management: Manage relationships with telecommunications carriers, network technology partners,
and outsourcing providers, ensuring proper service delivery, contractual compliance, and continuous
improvement. Coordinate operational and strategic follow-up meetings, evaluate vendor performance, and
support supplier selection, contract renewals, connectivity sourcing, and service optimization initiatives.
* Project Leadership: Lead communications, connectivity, and network transformation projects from planning
to execution, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. Coordinate internal
stakeholders, telecom carriers, and external technology partners; manage dependencies, risks, and priorities;
and ensure the successful transition of projects into operational support.
* Budget & Financial Management: Prepare, monitor, and control the communications budget, including
operational expenses, telecom services, maintenance and support contracts, circuits, subscriptions, and
project-related costs. Identify opportunities for consolidation, optimization, and cost efficiency while supporting
financial planning and investment decisions.
* Governance & Technology Strategy: Define and evolve the company's enterprise communications and
connectivity strategy, supporting network modernization, standardization, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity,
resilience, and business continuity initiatives. Ensure that services and projects comply with corporate policies,
technical standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks.
* Communications & Network Security: Ensure the security and compliance of enterprise communications
environments by promoting and enforcing cybersecurity best practices, corporate policies, and security
standards. Coordinate with internal security teams and external providers to identify and mitigate network
risks, support remediation initiatives, ensure appropriate segmentation, secure remote access, traffic
protection, and controlled connectivity, and contribute to maintaining a secure and resilient communications
landscape.
