At Save the Children, as every summer, we organize urban colonies for boys, girls, and adolescents with the aim of guaranteeing the same opportunities for those in vulnerable situations. The intervention staff, with the support of the volunteer team, provide a space for leisure and free time that is adequate and high-quality for the children during the summer holidays. Through cultural, artistic, sports, and recreational activities, along with emotional development, reinforcement, and support for healthy eating, we help them experience a fun summer that contributes to healthy and inclusive development.
Save the Children's urban colonies take place in the morning (9:00 AM to 2:45 PM) during the month of July. The volunteer will always be supervised and accompanied by a Save the Children educator.
Do you have experience with children? Would you like to have fun and learn with the Save the Children team while helping boys and girls reach their full potential? Join a different, fun, and play-filled summer where your presence will add impact and smiles.
Once you register, selected individuals will be contacted to invite them to a group information session to learn all the details and decide if they'd like to take part.
