Network Operator (24x7)

• Education: Having successfully completed Intermediate Vocational Training, Higher Vocational Training, or University Degree studies.
• Experience: minimum of 1 year in network or systems operation and administration teams.
• Knowledge and demonstrable basic experiences in at least 3 of the following areas:
  • Switching & Routing.
  • Wireless.
  • Network Access Control systems (NAC, RADIUS, 802.1x)
  • DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPAM systems
  • Firewalls.
  • Anti-Malware, Anti-Spam.
  • Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IPS/IDS)
• Knowledge and demonstrable medium experiences in the following areas:
  • Microsoft client operating systems.
  • Microsoft Server operating systems.
  • Linux operating systems.

• Languages: bilingual in Catalan and Spanish, and basic English

As an SG Operator, you will be part of the SEIDOR Network Security & Connectivity unit, where we drive the secure digital transformation of organizations, combining more than 25 years of experience in networks, security, and connectivity with a comprehensive vision oriented towards people, data, and innovation.

We design, implement and manage intelligent infrastructures that connect, protect and optimize technology environments, from the workplace and the datacenter to the hybrid or multicloud.

Our team offers end-to-end services covering consulting, design, deployment, operation, and automation of IT networks and security.

Your duties will be:

• Carry out all assigned internal basic general training processes.
• Ensure the support of NSOC Operators - Level 0 during their learning process.
• Attend to the performance of tasks assigned by the NSOC Technical Team Leader within these areas:
  • Supervision and operation of monitoring systems for the proactive treatment of alerts for their resolution.
  • Evaluation and triage of alerts for their documentation and subsequent escalation to the relevant support groups.
  • Handling of assigned requests, changes, and incidents, always ensuring compliance with service levels.
  • Management and supervision of assigned tickets, documenting all related activities and updating statuses and priority levels in the ITSM tool.
  • Handling of preventive actions for the evaluation of the status of the systems in scope.
  • Preparation of reports, procedures, and technical instructions.
  • Management and supervision of the NSOC-KB (Wiki).
