At Sener Aeroespacial, we continue to grow and are looking to incorporate a Configuration Manager for high-complexity projects in the aerospace and defense sector, at our Arganda office.

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In Defense, we handle the design and production of equipment and systems, including unmanned ones. This role is key to ensuring the integrity, traceability, and control of technical documentation and product configuration, from initial design to manufacturing, using state-of-the-art PLM tools.

What you will do:

You will perform the complete management of project documentation, establishing starting and deliverable documentation, coordinating change management, approving documentation and project parts, and identifying product structures.

Acting as a liaison between engineering and other aspects of the Project, seeking to ensure the integrity and control of all incoming and outgoing documentation, and its availability according to the established criteria for dissemination, you will be responsible for:

• Performing configuration management functions for projects and developments.

• Interfacing with design engineering, production systems, procurement, and quality to develop and establish product configurations.

• Controlling all official project documentation from the moment of its first issuance, including the prior establishment of project deliverable documentation.

• Monitoring change requests through established routes and ensuring all requests are properly assigned and controlled.

• Creating configuration-specific documentation, especially regarding configuration traceability reports (CIDLs, Configuration Status Accounting Report, etc.).

• Controlling the assignment of part numbering according to internal coding rules.

• Supporting the generation of the manufacturing MBOM based on the design captured in the EBOM.

• Collaborating in the development, implementation, and improvement of configuration management standards and processes.
