Configuration Manager

• A degree in Engineering or a technical diploma, preferably in a technical specialty.

• At least 5 years of experience performing similar roles, especially in the defense and/or aerospace sectors.

• Knowledge of configuration management and PLM tools (ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar).

• English level B2-C1.

At Sener Aerospace we continue to grow and we are looking to hire a Configuration Manager for highly complex projects in the aerospace and defense sector, at our Arganda office.

This role is key to ensuring the integrity, traceability, and control of technical documentation and product configuration, from initial design through to manufacturing, using state-of-the-art PLM tools.

You will manage the complete project documentation, establishing baseline and deliverable documentation, coordinating change management, approving project documentation and parts, and identifying product structures.

Acting as a liaison between engineering and the rest of the project, working to ensure the integrity and control of all incoming and outgoing documentation, and its availability according to established distribution criteria, you will be responsible for:

• Performing configuration management functions for projects and developments.

• Interfacing with design engineering, the production system, procurement, and quality, in order to develop and establish product configurations.

• Controlling all official project documentation from its first issue, including the prior establishment of project deliverable documentation.

• Monitoring change requests through established routes, and ensuring that all requests are properly assigned and controlled.

• Producing configuration documentation itself, especially configuration traceability reports (CIDLs, Configuration Status Accounting Report, etc.

• Controlling part number assignment in accordance with the company's own coding rules.

• Supporting the generation of the manufacturing MBOM based on the design EBOM.

• Collaborating in the development, implementation, and improvement of configuration management standards and processes.
