Mechanical Manager

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialty), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent higher qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or mechanical department management, preferably in large industrial construction projects, critical infrastructure (especially Data Centers), energy, or highly complex technical environments.
• Strong and in-depth knowledge of the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC, fire protection, fluid networks, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, strategic planning, and manage complex projects.
• Advanced communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in engineering software (CAD, BIM) and project management tools.
• Proactive, autonomous, and strongly results- and quality-oriented.
• B2 level of English.

JOB DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Manager with strong leadership skills to join a large-scale technology infrastructure construction project. The selected professional will be the ultimate person responsible for the overall management of all mechanical aspects of the project, from planning and design to execution and commissioning of systems. This position is crucial to ensure the correct implementation of mechanical solutions (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.), guaranteeing quality, schedule compliance, and budget control in a highly demanding and complex environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, plan, and supervise all engineering, installation, and commissioning activities of the project's mechanical systems (HVAC, fire protection, plumbing systems, piping, pumping equipment, etc.).
• Manage and coordinate the team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring the achievement of objectives and performance standards.
• Review and validate mechanical engineering designs, calculations, technical specifications, and drawings, ensuring their optimization and regulatory compliance.
• Control the execution of mechanical works on site, ensuring compliance with procedures, material quality, and safety.
• Manage budget control and planning of mechanical activities, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other discipline managers (Electrical, Civil, Quality, Safety) to ensure the integration and proper overall operation of the facility.
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of mechanical suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage the resolution of complex technical issues arising during the project, providing innovative and efficient solutions.
• Ensure the preparation of project handover documentation (as-built, manuals, etc.) for mechanical systems.
• Report regularly to the Project Director on progress, risks, and challenges in the mechanical area.
