The role

Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, a leading company in the development and generation of renewable energy, storage, and infrastructure in Southern Europe, maintains a firm commitment to decarbonization and the energy transition through a model based on clean energy and sustainable infrastructure.

Since our beginnings in 2002, we have experienced a constant evolution that has led us from being a manufacturer of photovoltaic panels to becoming one of Europe's main renewable energy producers and a developer of critical infrastructure and data centers, listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange since 2007 and part of the IBEX 35 since 2020.

Within the framework of our growth and the expansion of our asset portfolio, we are looking to hire a Projects & Construction Lawyer whose mission will be to provide comprehensive legal support to the Group's construction and infrastructure projects (renewable energy plants, storage, and data centers), from the tendering phase through to the execution and closing of contracts, managing risks, disputes, and negotiations in a national and international environment.

What you'll do

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), Design & Build, O&M, and technical consultancy contracts, as well as supply agreements for all types of components (modules, transformers, inverters, BESS, wind turbines...).

  • Legal support during the tender process: reviewing tender specifications, analyzing contractual risks, and preparing documentation with suppliers, subcontractors, and providers.

  • Advising on claims regarding extensions of time, cost overruns, and variations during the execution of construction projects.

  • Management and coordination of dispute resolution procedures (litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation) arising from projects.

  • Definition and implementation of risk management strategies throughout the entire project life cycle, from development to execution.

  • Negotiation and drafting of joint venture and consortium agreements, and resolution of implementation issues with partners and contractors.

  • Legal support in project finance operations and, where applicable, in PPP/concession processes.

  • Coordination with the Concessions, Energy, Corporate, and Project Finance teams, and liaison with external law firms, to align the legal strategy with business objectives.

Minimum Requirements

  • On-site position in Madrid, with availability for occasional national and international travel.

  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and negotiation and communication skills at all levels.
