The role

Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, a leading company in the development and generation of renewable energy, storage, and infrastructure in Southern Europe, maintains a firm commitment to decarbonization and the energy transition through a model based on clean energies and sustainable infrastructure.

Since our beginnings in 2002, we have experienced a constant evolution that has led us from being a manufacturer of photovoltaic panels to becoming one of Europe's main renewable energy producers and a developer of critical infrastructure and data centers, listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange since 2007 and part of the IBEX 35 since 2020.

At this time, we are looking for an Accounting Intern who, as part of the finance team, will support the team in their day-to-day activities.

As a member of the Solaria Internship Program, you will be part of a team that will involve you in projects from day one, accompanied by experts who will help you develop your skills and participate in the day-to-day operations of a company in full expansion within the renewables sector and a member of the IBEX 35.

What you'll do

  • Support in the monitoring and recording of the daily operations of the Control Center: collection of production data, prices, and market session results.

  • Collaboration in the sending and monitoring of offers to the OMIE/REE markets under the supervision of the operators' team.

  • Support in the real-time monitoring of the performance of generation assets and the regulation zone (AGC).

  • Support in the analysis of market conditions (prices, forecasts, fundamental indicators) for the identification of opportunities.

  • Collaboration in the preparation of P&L reports, market analysis, and asset performance.

  • Support in data analysis tasks and process automation (Python, VBA/SQL) in coordination with the IT and Asset Management teams.

  • Participation in coordination with other internal teams: data analysis, asset management, regulatory compliance, and origination.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Energy Resources Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related degrees in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics with an interest in the electricity market.

  • Possibility of formalizing an internship agreement with the university or training center.

  • Basic knowledge of electricity markets (OMIE, REE) is valued.

  • Knowledge of Python, VBA and/or SQL is valued.

  • Advanced level of English.

  • Analytical skills, ability to work in a team, and availability to adapt to a shift-based environment.
