As an Apparel Developer, you will be responsible for contributing to the continuous improvement of the product from a technical perspective, improving quality according to standards and legislation, and ensuring product conformity.

What you'll do

In your day-to-day

  • Send documentation to suppliers to ensure the launch and follow-up of the product, guaranteeing the established deadlines.
  • Product development management and sample approval (completing technical sheets, evaluating raw materials, accessories, measurements, and other specific details), ensuring with the supplier the necessary modifications and improvements and offering appropriate technical solutions in case difficulties arise for the original development.
  • Closely monitor orders and the production plan, ensuring compliance with deadlines, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Close collaboration with the design, purchasing, quality, logistics, and import areas.
  • Definition of target prices and negotiation, supplier selection, documentation submission, order placement, and delivery deadline management.
  • Competition analysis and benchmarking.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand or renew the range.
  • Collaborate with our office in China for close management with suppliers in problem-solving and process or product improvements.
  • Support the area coordinator:
    -Ensuring that factories and suppliers follow our instructions and needs. 
    -Ensuring compliance with standards and dates.
    -Providing weekly feedback on the status of each supplier and the feeling regarding possible issues.
