The role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Application Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of business applications supporting our global workforce. The role focuses primarily on endpoint-based applications and productivity tools used by end users, while also managing selected server-hosted and centrally operated business applications.

As part of the Global IT organization, you will ensure the stability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of application services throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll do

Manage the complete lifecycle of assigned applications, from onboarding and deployment to retirement.
Act as the primary IT contact for application owners, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams.
Ensure reliable daily operations, performance, and availability of business-critical applications.
Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities.
Plan and execute application upgrades, patching, and release deployments.
Manage software licenses, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Drive standardization, optimization, and automation of application management processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of experience in Application Management, End User Computing, Digital Workplace, or IT Operations.
Strong understanding of software lifecycle management and IT service management processes.
Experience managing desktop and endpoint applications in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Intune, software deployment, and application packaging concepts.
