The role
We are looking for a Mechanical Motion Engineer with experience in robotic systems, robotic grippers, or similar, specialized in life science equipment (preferably having worked with machinery in the pharmaceutical/food sector) to join our team in Terrassa. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving cutting-edge equipment for the life science industry.
What you'll do
- Design and develop innovative mechanical systems for life science equipment using CAD software.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Manage projects from concept to production, respecting deadlines and budget constraints.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, test protocols, and user manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in existing products.
- Stay up to date with the latest advances in life science equipment and mechanical engineering technologies.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ISO standards for medical devices.

- Knowledge of Autocad/Drafsight.

- Valuable experience with robotic systems equipment (robotic grippers or similar)
