Context

At SYSTRA Ardanuy, an engineering company specializing in railway systems and electrical networks, we are looking for an Electrical Control and Protection Engineer to join our substation team.

You will participate in the design of control, protection, and automation systems for transport, distribution, and railway traction substations, as part of highly technically complex national and international projects.

• Design of control and electrical protection systems for High Voltage substations.
• Preparation of technical specifications for control and protection cabinets.
• Conceptual definition and design of single-line and detailed control, protection, and measurement diagrams.
• Carrying out coordination/selectivity studies and the preparation of Protection Setting Reports and Criteria.
• Design of the internal logic of relays (IEDs): development of logic equations, interlocks, and trip matrices.
• Integral design of the communications architecture for substation automation systems.
• Configuration and application of industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, IEC ***********, Modbus, etc.).
• Application of cybersecurity criteria from the design phase.
• Participation in railway traction substation projects (DC and AC/High Speed), as well as in transport and distribution networks.
