The role
Context
We are looking for a Civil Engineer specializing in geotechnics to join the technical assistance team in the construction of tunnels designed using the NATM method in soils of any nature.
As a Geotechnical Specialist, you will be responsible for verifying the geotechnical characteristics presented in the soils according to the progress at each working face and specifying project adaptations in accordance with deviations from what was considered in the Design Engineering.

Main functions
- Verification of the geotechnical characteristics of the soils at each tunnel advancement face.
- Specification of project adaptations according to deviations detected relative to the Design Engineering.
- Technical assistance during the construction of tunnels under the NATM method.
- Coordination with the site team and the design engineering to ensure correct geotechnical execution.
- Preparation of technical reports and supporting documentation.
