We are committed to a policy that effectively manages all aspects of health, safety, protection, and well-being across all SYSTRA companies, workplaces, and other parties affected by our operations. In this context, we are looking for a 3S Technician for our SYSTRA Iberia and Hispanic America (IBA) organization. This is a transversal role that supports all SYSTRA IBA entities and reports hierarchically to the 3S Manager of SYSTRA IBA. Additionally, it collaborates with and provides occasional support to the Quality department.

Missions/Main Duties

• Support the implementation and monitoring of the 3S Management System in projects and workplaces, in accordance with Group policies, procedures, and guides.
• Collaborate in verifying compliance with 3S standards in the field, through inspections, walkthroughs, preventive observations, and checklists.
• Provide support in the preparation, updating, and control of 3S documentation, including procedures, instructions, formats, records, matrices, and reports.
• Support the identification of hazards, risk assessment, and definition of control measures before the start of activities.
• Participate in the monitoring of action plans derived from inspections, audits, incidents, observations, and legal assessments.
• Perform monitoring and recording of 3S deviations, following up on their timely closure and informing the 3S Manager of their status.
• Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts/conditions, collecting evidence, records, and data for analysis.
• Prepare periodic reports and 3S indicators, consolidating performance information, findings, training, incidents, and plan compliance.
• Collaborate in the programming, logistics, and execution of training, inductions, safety talks, and awareness campaigns on 3S topics.
• Support the dissemination of internal communications to strengthen the safety, health, and protection culture at all levels of the organization.
• Verify in the field the proper use of personal protective equipment, signage, work permits, operational controls, and safety conditions.
• Support the review of applicable legal compliance regarding safety, health, and protection, keeping records and documentary evidence updated.
• Collaborate in the preparation of internal and external audits, client or authority inspections, and 3S compliance reviews.
• Support the organization of drills, campaigns, workshops, and 3S events, including attendance control, materials, evidence, and reports.
• Keep the database of incidents, inspections, training, corrective actions, observations, and other 3S records updated.
• Provide support to the 3S Manager in the preparation of presentations, executive reports, trend analysis, and documentation for committees, bids, or project reviews.
• Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and operational personnel to promote compliance with 3S requirements in daily activities.
• Report any unsafe condition, critical non-compliance, or situation that may represent a risk to people, facilities, or operations to the 3S Manager in a timely manner.
• Support the control and monitoring of 3S requirements demanded of contractors and subcontractors.
• Participate in field visits, operational meetings, and safety walkthroughs, identifying findings and opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the system, proposing preventive and corrective actions based on findings and monitoring results.
• Support the SYSTRA IBA Quality department.
