AI Solutions Architect & Business Development Lead

We are looking for an AI Practice Lead | GenAI & Solution Architecture to lead the creation and development of the new Artificial Intelligence department. This is a strategic position that combines AI solution architecture and development, technology consulting, pre-sales, and the generation of new business opportunities. The role will initially be hands-on, progressively evolving towards leading a specialized team. Who will you report to? You will be the main Artificial Intelligence reference for Exceltic, with high autonomy and direct collaboration with the commercial, technical, and management teams. The hierarchical reporting line will be directly to the General Manager/CEO. What are the desired qualities? We are looking for a profile with solid technical experience, strategic vision, and a strong commercial orientation. An autonomous, proactive, and decisive person, capable of identifying business opportunities, designing innovative technological solutions, defending proposals to clients, and converting them into real projects. We especially value communication skills, leadership, and the motivation to build a new line of business from scratch. Functions and responsibilities: 1) Strategy and development of our AI practice - You will lead the creation, evolution, and consolidation of our new Artificial Intelligence area, defining its strategy, capabilities, and technological roadmap. - You will identify new AI applications that allow for value generation both for Exceltic and for our clients. - You will drive the development of methodologies, components, and reusable solutions that allow the activity to scale progressively. 2) Business development and client relationship - You will collaborate closely with our commercial teams to identify new business opportunities in current and potential clients. - You will participate in commercial meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions, analyzing needs and detecting opportunities where AI can provide differential value. - You will transform our clients' challenges into value propositions and concrete technological solutions, actively contributing to the acquisition and expansion of projects. - You will act as a technical reference and strategic advisor, building relationships of trust with technical interlocutors, business managers, and management teams. 3) Solution architecture and technological development - You will design end-to-end software and Artificial Intelligence architectures, integrating technologies such as LLMs, RAG, AI agents, APIs, and cloud services. - You will participate directly in the development of prototypes, proofs of concept (PoCs), and minimum viable products (MVPs), mainly with Python. - You will lead the integration of AI solutions into our clients' technological ecosystems, guaranteeing their viability, security, scalability, and evolution towards production environments. - You will have an especially hands-on role during the early stages, actively participating in the construction and validation of the first solutions. 4) Technical pre-sales and proposal construction - You will participate in the analysis of RFQs, RFPs, and commercial opportunities related to Artificial Intelligence and technological transformation. - You will define the architectures, scopes, resources, and technical estimates that will serve as the basis for our commercial proposals. - You will collaborate in the preparation and defense of technical offers, presenting solutions to clients and contributing to transforming commercial opportunities into real projects. 5) Growth and team leadership - As our AI practice consolidates, you will participate in the definition and construction of a specialized technical team. - You will establish best practices, standards, and methodologies that allow for the guarantee of project quality and continuity. - You will progressively evolve towards the leadership of a structured, scalable Artificial Intelligence practice with the capacity to generate new business opportunities.
