Finishing Mechanic

• Vocational training qualification (Intermediate or Advanced) in Mechanics, Machining, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar; professional training in areas such as Carpentry, Cabinetmaking, or Furniture Assembly, Installation, and Maintenance is valued.
• At least 1 year of experience performing mechanical work in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of reading technical drawings and sketches.
• Skill in using hand and power tools, such as drills, saws, screwdrivers, levels, etc.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and plumbing is valued, useful for assembling kitchens, bathrooms, or technical furniture.
• Knowledge of materials (wood, metals, plastics, coatings) and finishing techniques is valued.
• Availability to work shifts and on weekends if necessary.

You will join the mechanical manufacturing team at our factory in Las Rozas (Las Matas).

Your mission will be to carry out mechanical assemblies on the train, including their finishing, in accordance with Talgo's standards and procedures, ensuring an optimal level of quality, schedule, cost, and safety. To do so, you will perform functions such as:

• Bringing trains to life from the blueprint to the track.
• Interpreting technical drawings and job-specific documentation, such as work orders, procedures, and self-inspections.
• Performing mechanical assemblies at the bench, both manually and using specialized tools.
• Using hand tools and specialized machinery such as pneumatic riveters, drills, tapping machines, templates, electric saws, angle grinders, among others.
