The role

At Grupo Tecdata, we continue to drive our Data & AI practice and are looking to bring on board a Junior AI Engineer with an interest in generative artificial intelligence, language models, and the development of intelligent agents.
You will join a specialized team where you can learn from senior profiles, participate in real projects, and develop innovative AI-based solutions.
What will you do?
Develop AI components and applications using Python.
Integrate language model (LLM) APIs.
Participate in the development of RAG solutions, embeddings, and information retrieval systems.
Create simple agent workflows and integrations with tools.
Perform testing and evaluate the quality of AI-generated responses.
Collaborate on automation, GenAI, and intelligent agent projects.
Document developments and contribute to the creation of reusable components.
What are we looking for?
Between 0 and 2 years of experience in development, data, or artificial intelligence. We also value internships and personal projects.
Practical knowledge of Python.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and SQL.
Basic knowledge of generative artificial intelligence, LLMs, prompts, embeddings, or RAG.
Notions of Docker and Linux.
Ability to learn, initiative, and a desire to grow professionally.
Fluent Spanish and technical English.
What do we value?
Experience or projects with LangChain, LangGraph, or agent frameworks.
Knowledge of OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or AWS Bedrock.
Familiarity with vector databases.
Knowledge of Docker, cloud, and AI automation.
Interest in MCP and AI-assisted development tools.
