Emergency Doctor

The person who joins will guide and provide medical advice to patients through telematics (telephone, video consultation, or chat) and will assess whether to activate medical resources (home doctor or emergency ambulance) if necessary, in accordance with the client's guidelines and the standards set by Teladoc Health International.

• Attend to patients by applying active listening to the reason for consultation.

• Perform a structured anamnesis.

• Medically determine the severity and the required level of care.

• Provide medical advice and guidance to the patient, with pharmacological prescription being possible.

• Activate the appropriate resource for the clinical situation and adapt it according to availability. In case the necessary resource is not available, contact other emergency services.

• Follow up on the patient's status until the arrival of the resource, if necessary.

• Make proper data entries in the system.

• Report incidents to the supervisor.

• Comply with established quality standards following the medical ethical code.

• Know, stay updated on, and act according to internal management protocols and agreements made with companies, following policies to comply with the ethics of Teladoc Health International.

• 100% remote contract

• 3-month temporary contract from October/November 2026 until January/February 2027

• IT equipment provided by Teladoc Health

• Schedule to be agreed upon according to availability; availability on weekends or holidays will be positively valued

We are currently looking for doctors to provide coverage for the flu season with the possibility of a permanent contract afterwards.

• Recent clinical experience in Spain

• Specialization in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, pulmonology, or similar will be positively valued

• Active medical registration in Spain

• Proficiency in other languages (English, Catalan, or others) will be positively valued

Schedule: to be agreed upon according to availability, with a minimum collaboration of 2 shifts of 6h per week (12 hours per week). Weekends 16 hours (two 8h shifts)
