The role
At TENDAM (a textile sector company formed by the brands: Cortefiel, Pedro del Hierro, women´secret, Fifty, Milano, Springfield, Springfield Kids, Hoss Intropia, Slowlove, OOTO, Hi&Bye, Dash And Stars) we want to hire a Construction Economic Control Technician, a profile with training in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering or Industrial Technical Engineering and more than 5 years of previous experience in a position similar to the one described in this offer (experience in commercial premises works will be valued).
Manage the economic circuit of works from the initial CAPEX estimation to the documentary control and closing of budgets, ensuring that the investment is supported by homogeneous data, complete offers, traceable measurements, justification of deviations, and orderly communication between the different agents.
What you'll do
CAPEX estimation and proforma support
· Prepare preliminary investment estimates based on sales and warehouse areas, ratios by chain, country or type of intervention, and specific costs such as connections, alarms, and additional items.
· Incorporate particular constraints of the premises, among others: length or complexity of the facade, demolitions, joins between premises, party walls, special works, and shopping center requirements.
· Maintain and apply updated ratio criteria, identifying cases that require an ad hoc assessment due to a lack of historical data or the uniqueness of the concept.
Receipt, review, and homogenization of offers
· Request and follow up on the budgets necessary for each work and chapter, verifying that they are received on time and through the Cost Control channel.
· Check that the offers adjust to the project measurements or DEO, to the corporate Excel template, and to the requested scope, avoiding omissions, duplications, or unjustified changes.
· Review unit prices and items against available references, requesting clarifications and adjusted versions when amounts exist above what is expected.
Control of modifications and deviations
· Analyze modified budgets, additional works, and site extras, demanding detail regarding the reason, scope, requester, and technical support for the variation.
· Contrast that each modification corresponds to a real construction need and that it is correctly identified before its incorporation into the economic control.
· Verify the correct assignment of offers, works, and invoicing to the corresponding investment or intervention.
Economic coordination of agents
· Act as the economic point of contact between contractors, installers, engineering firms, DEO, Interior Design, Expansion, and internal construction managers.
· Clarify responsibilities regarding measurements, budgets, plans, order sheets, schedules, and information sending circuits.
· Escalate lack of information, delays, or the impossibility of offering complete chapters that could compromise comparison, award, or execution.
Tenders, proposals, and conformities
· Prepare the necessary economic information to compare proposals and support award decisions by work or chapter.
· Propose going to tender when the impact of a chapter on the CAPEX or the dispersion of prices justifies it.
· Communicate economic conformities within the defined authorization framework and maintain traceability of approved, pending, and rejected offers.
Maintenance of control and reporting
· Keep investment sheets and cost control files for each store updated.
· Consolidate the status of budget receipt and the main economic risks, providing clear information to Management and the involved areas.
· Safeguard economic documentation and ensure correspondence between store, supplier, chapter, offer version, and scope.
