Maintenance Technician

Due to an increase in activity, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician, based in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona. As part of the Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for:

• Quality standards established under the strictest regulations, carrying out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on all Production equipment.
• Drafting operating instructions for the installed equipment for the Production team.
• Drafting the preventive maintenance instructions for the Production equipment, according to the equipment manufacturer's indications and/or experience with the equipment.
• Drafting the preventive maintenance instructions for the Maintenance equipment, according to the manufacturer's criteria and/or experience with the equipment.
• Monitoring the requirements set out in the Preventive Maintenance Instructions for their implementation, as well as recording the actions carried out in each preventive maintenance task.
• Providing training to the customization Team leaders on the correct use of production equipment, as well as on carrying out preventive maintenance operations.
• Providing training to the customization operators so that the preventive maintenance operations defined under their responsibility are properly carried out.
• Making proposals to the Production Manager regarding improvements to the equipment that are considered necessary for optimal operation and, if possible, for increased productivity.
• Informing the Maintenance Coordinator and the Production Manager of the breakdowns resolved in each intervention, as well as entering the data into the associated maintenance program.
• Collaborating with the different technical teams working at the company's facilities, whether internal or external.
• Contacting the usual suppliers when necessary in order to react as quickly as possible when spare parts or services need to be supplied by them.
• Installation and commissioning of production equipment.
• Implementation of solutions and/or corporate improvements to the Production equipment.
• Keeping the software versions of the Production equipment up to date.
• Improving machines to increase productivity or safety.
• The proper state of order and cleanliness of the elements, tools, components, and areas designated for maintenance distributed across the different work areas.
• The operation of the building's facilities, performing the first level of maintenance or contacting the maintenance company to resolve any issue.

• Advanced vocational training (mechatronics professional field).
• Basic user-level English skills (equivalent to levels between A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
• Ability to analyze and interpret any information about industrial machinery.
• Analytical, decisive, organized, and methodical person.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance.
