Industrial Maintenance Technician

• Permanent contract with a 6-month probation period
• Full-time.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts: morning (7:00 to 15:00), middle (09:00 to 18:00 with 1H for lunch), and afternoon (14:00 to 22:00). Shifts rotate every 2 weeks.
• On-call: Telephone on-call every 3 weeks with the possibility of travel to attend to production needs (when it cannot be resolved by phone). During the week the weekend on-call is covered, there is also night on-call for major emergencies (general electricity failure, flooding...).
• Salary according to the candidate's experience.
• Immediate start.
• Location: Mercabarna Market, Barcelona.

At IMAN Global Consulting, our specialized recruitment division, we are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a food sector company in Mercabarna, Barcelona.

• Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work on the company's production equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate and supervise interventions carried out by external maintenance companies on equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate and execute pre-installations of new machinery.
• Perform small electrical, plumbing, and boilermaking installations.
• Manage the procurement of spare parts and materials necessary for repairs and maintenance.
• Identify and propose improvements in machines, work equipment, and facilities.
• Implement approved improvements to optimize processes and results.
• Ensure the proper use and care of the company's machinery, tools, and resources.
• Train users in the maintenance, conservation, and rational use of machinery.
• Report to the Maintenance Manager the necessary information regarding the status of the equipment, the interventions carried out, and the results obtained.
