Requirements

What we're looking for

At least 5 years of experience in software development.
More than 4 years of experience in backend development with Java.
Solid experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Experience in the design and implementation of microservices architectures.
Experience in the design and integration of REST APIs.
Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar).
Experience in CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or equivalents.
Experience working under Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Demonstrable experience in projects within the banking sector, payment methods, fintech, or insurance (essential requirement).
Experience in critical business applications and production support.
Intermediate level of English (B2).

Nice to have

Kafka.
Hexagonal Architecture.
AWS, AKS or OpenShift (OCP).
OpenAPI / Swagger.
Automated testing with JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber.

The role

At THEWHITEAM Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Java Analyst Programmer to join a technological project located in Madrid, focused on the development of backend applications and services using Java and Spring Boot, within the financial sector.

The selected person will participate in the design, development, maintenance, and evolution of solutions based on microservices architectures, working with Java and Spring Boot technologies in critical business environments and collaborating on integration with financial platforms and corporate systems.

What you'll do

Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Design, implement, and evolve microservices and REST APIs.
Participate in integration with financial platforms and corporate systems.
Provide support and resolve incidents in production environments.
Participate in deployments and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Develop solutions on cloud architectures and distributed environments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams under Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Guarantee the quality, performance, stability, and correct functioning of the applications.
