We are looking for a Labor Relations and Occupational Health and Safety Technician to lead the company's people management, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, correct personnel administration, and the development of HR policies aligned with business objectives.

What you'll do

💡 What you will do on a day-to-day basis:

✔️ Manage hires, dismissals, contractual modifications, vacations, permits, work schedules, and absenteeism.

✔️ Coordinate the preparation and review of payrolls together with the labor consultancy firm and supervise the documentation of employment files.

✔️ Identify staffing needs, conduct interviews, and coordinate selection and onboarding processes.

✔️ Identify training needs, manage training actions, and process their corresponding government subsidies.

✔️ Advise managers and Senior Management on labor matters and ensure compliance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

✔️ Manage disciplinary proceedings and maintain relationships with workers' representatives.

✔️ Coordinate activities with the External Prevention Service, overseeing compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, medical examinations, and preventive training.

✔️ Define and develop Human Resources policies, as well as people-related metrics: turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, training, and so on.

✔️ Drive initiatives designed to improve workplace atmosphere, engagement, and talent retention.

What we're looking for

What are we looking for?

🔹 Degree in Labor Relations, Law, Psychology, Business Administration or similar training.

🔹 A Master's in Human Resources Management is valued.

🔹 Minimum of five years of experience in similar positions.

🔹 Experience in personnel administration, contracting, payroll, and labor relations.

🔹 Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

🔹 Experience in recruitment, training, and employee development.

🔹 Proficiency with HR tools and ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

🔹 Previous experience in distribution, logistics, or food sector companies is an advantage.

🔹 Previous experience at organizations with between 50 and 300 employees is an advantage.

🔹 Leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills required.

🔹 Organized, proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.

🔹 High degree of discretion and confidentiality in managing information.
