The role

We are looking for a QA/QC Electrical Engineer with experience in high voltage projects to supervise and guarantee quality activities during the construction of an offshore electrical substation. The objective of the position is to ensure that all electrical works are executed in accordance with technical specifications, international regulations, contractual requirements, and project quality plans.

What you'll do

Review and approve electrical QA/QC documentation: Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and work methods.
Supervise and witness installation, testing, and commissioning activities of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV equipment, protections, control, SCADA, earthing, cabling, lighting).
Perform inspections and audits of contractors and subcontractors to verify compliance with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and safety requirements.
Verify and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) of transformers, GIS, MV switchgear, protection relays, cables, and auxiliary systems.
Guarantee the correct handling, installation, and testing of electrical equipment suitable for offshore use (anti-corrosion protection, sealing, IP, etc.).
Manage Non-Conformities (NCRs), coordinate corrective actions, and report to the QA/QC Manager.
Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams and client representatives to resolve quality incidents.
Ensure the correct collection and delivery of final documentation: as-built drawings, test certificates, and quality records.
