Sustainability and ESG Coordinator

Requirements:

Education:

- Degree in Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or similar.

- A master's or postgraduate degree in Sustainability, ESG, CSR, or Environmental Management is valued.

Professional experience:

- Between 3 and 5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, CSR, or non-financial reporting.

- Demonstrable experience in the practical implementation of ESG solutions.

- Experience in the educational or institutional sector is valued.

Technical skills:

- ESG frameworks, SDGs, CSRD, EINF, and double materiality.

- Definition and monitoring of sustainability KPIs and metrics.

- Knowledge of environmental, social, and governance impact in educational organizations.

- Minimum B2 level of English

Position Mission

Drive, coordinate, and execute the operational implementation of the educational group's sustainability and ESG strategy, ensuring its real integration into academic, operational, and corporate management, regulatory compliance, and the generation of measurable impact in environmental, social, and good governance spheres.

Functions:

1. Implementation and monitoring of the ESG strategy

- Deploy the ESG action plans defined by the educational group.

- Coordinate sustainability initiatives across campuses, centers, and academic units.

- Ensure alignment between the ESG policy, corporate strategy, and the educational mission.

2. Reporting, metrics, and compliance

- Coordinate the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG indicators (KPIs).

- Participate in the preparation of sustainability reports and non-financial reporting (CSRD/EINF).

- Support audits, double materiality analyses, and benchmarking exercises.

3. Cross-functional coordination

- Work in a coordinated manner with Finance, HR, Legal, Communication, Infrastructure, and Academic departments.

- Act as the operational liaison between technical areas and management.

4. Academic and social impact

- Support the integration of sustainability criteria and SDGs into curricula and academic activities.

- Collaborate on volunteering programs, social impact, and external alliances.

- Foster a culture of sustainability among employees, faculty, and students.

- Collaborate on the sustainable mobility plan for employees.

5. Communication and awareness

- Support the internal and external communication of ESG initiatives.

- Create content for different stakeholder groups.

- Participate in forums, workshops, and collaborative projects related to educational sustainability.
