Purchasing and Procurement Specialist

• Demonstrable experience in purchasing and international logistics departments is desirable, with previous experience in the coffee, food, or B2B distribution sectors being highly valued.
• Deep knowledge of foreign trade: customs, document management, tariff headings, and Incoterms.
• Fluent use of SAP for daily procurement management, order tracking, and supplier analysis (with proficiency in operational and inquiry transactions such as ME2L, ME2N, or FS10N).
• Mastery of Power BI (including creating measures with DAX and modeling with Power Query) for the design of dashboards, sales tracking, and supply chain analysis.
• Advanced level of Excel, indispensable for demand forecasting, cash flow control, and mass data management.
• High negotiation capacity, proactivity, and incident resolution.

We are looking to incorporate a Purchasing and Procurement Specialist into our team to comprehensively manage our supply chain. This is a position that does not require a physical presence in our Logroño offices, so we value applications from professionals located in other locations.

You will be the person responsible for guaranteeing the continuous flow of materials and products, optimizing costs, guaranteeing quality, and managing the company's international trade. In your day-to-day, you will be in charge of:

• Executing and managing purchase orders for coffee (finished product), machinery, and spare parts, as well as complementary products, covering both intra-community (EU) and extra-community imports.
• Carrying out the sourcing, evaluation, and formal approval of alternative manufacturers of machinery and spare parts, as well as suppliers of complementary products.
• Supervising regulatory compliance for imports, verifying tariff codes (HS Codes), and managing customs clearances for imports from outside the EU.
• Evaluating suppliers, performing market prospecting, and negotiating commercial conditions, defining key aspects such as Incoterms and payment terms.
• Managing the supply chain flow (pipeline) to prevent stockouts, while simultaneously balancing cash flow and mitigating foreign exchange risks.
• Resolving billing incidents, auditing customs invoices, and managing any claims associated with product non-conformity.
