As a Test & Validation System Engineer  at Valeo Martos, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful companies in the automotive sector, developing electronics while working in an international and multicultural environment.

Mission:

Responsible for the product's functional test and validation activities within the R&D team throughout the entire project lifecycle (from quotation to final delivery). The main role is to define the IVV strategy, manage the configuration of test benches and execute the functional and mechatronic integration plans. In addition, it ensures the system's conformity against specifications and guarantees functional deliveries to the customer according to established milestones (FFV, EFV, AFV and SSSR).

Responsibilities

- Defines the product's system test strategy based on customer specifications and Valeo standards, as well as risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA, novelty analysis).

- Analyzes functional and system requirements and defines the allocation of the test strategy.

- Defines the functional test plan and supports the test bench, script specification and development of the necessary tools.

- In relation to the requirements assigned to the system validation scope, executes test case scripts on the test bench with the DUT and the vehicle test environment.

- Expands test coverage with some robustness tests and end-user test cases.

- Executes the test plan and reports test case results in a conformity matrix.

- Ensures that validation conditions and schedule feasibility align with project commitments.

- Ensures the archiving of reports in TMT and PLM.

- Contributes to the review of the Functional RD Validation métier checklist.

Desired knowledge and experience:

  • Engineering degree (Systems engineering, general technical engineering knowledge: embedded electronics, software, optical system, mechanics.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years: testing of embedded products (functional and environmental).

  • Qualification: Initial development experience in integration/testing/validation of products/systems.

  • Knowledge: Diag On Can /UDS /Requirements management/Editing of test case scripts.

  • Proficiency in Doors - VtestStudio - Teststand - LabWindows/CVI tools.

  • Proficiency in CAN/LIN network and associated tools (CANoe, CANdela..).
