Requirements
What we're looking for
Degree in Engineering (Systems Engineering, general technical engineering knowledge: embedded electronics, software, optical systems, mechanics).
Experience: 3 to 5 years: embedded product testing (functional and environmental).
Qualification: First experience in product/system development in integration/testing/validation.
Knowledge: Diag On Can /UDS /Requirements Management/Test case script editing.
Proficiency in Doors - VtestStudio - Teststand - LabWindows/CVI tools.
Proficiency in CAN/LIN networks and associated tools (CANoe, CANdela..).

As a Test & Validation System Engineer at Valeo Martos, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful companies in the automotive sector, in electronics development working in an international and multicultural environment.
What you'll do
In charge of the product functional testing and validation activities within the R&D team throughout the entire project cycle (from the bid to final delivery). Their main role is to define the IVV strategy, manage the configuration of test benches, and execute functional and mechatronic integration plans. Additionally, they guarantee system compliance against specifications and ensure functional deliveries to the customer according to the established milestones (FFV, EFV, AFV, and SSSR).
- Defines the product system testing strategy based on customer specifications, Valeo standards, and risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA, novelty analysis).
- Analyzes functional and system requirements and defines the testing strategy allocation.
- Defines the functional test plan and supports the test bench, script specification, and the development of necessary tools.
- In relation to the requirements assigned to the system validation scope, execute test case scripts on the test bench with the DUT and the vehicle test environment.
- Expand test coverage with robustness testing and end-user test cases.
- Performs the execution of the test plan and reports the results of the test cases in a compliance matrix.
- Guarantees that the validation conditions and planning feasibility align with project commitments.
- Ensures the filing of reports in TMT and PLM.
- Contributes to the review of the R&D Functional Validation métier checklist.
