The role

What will your day-to-day look like?

From the Engineering Management of Aquatec at Veolia Spain, we are looking to recruit a Hydraulics Specialist with experience in the modeling of sanitation and water supply networks for large-scale operations and in hydraulic projects at our Barcelona offices.

Your main functions will focus on:

What you'll do

Interpretation and processing of GIS databases for hydraulic networks
Hydraulic modeling with specific software
Determination of the hydraulic operation of the network under different scenarios
Diagnosis of the hydraulic deficiencies of the infrastructures and proposal of actions
Definition of the action plan and prioritization of actions
Drafting of technical support documents
Coordination with infrastructure operators and public administrations
Coordination and collaboration with the technical team and the GIS department
Drafting, management, and monitoring of projects
Preparation of technical documentation (reports, annexes, budgets, specifications) and administrative documentation.
Management of project costs, times, and resources.
Strategic support for the preparation of bids
