Hospital Facilities Maintenance Technician

Education: Higher/intermediate vocational training related to maintenance, electricity, thermal installations, industrial refrigeration, air conditioning or similar.

Experience in previous maintenance of technical facilities, preferably in hospitals, public buildings, industry, or large facilities.

Knowledge of:

• Low-voltage electricity.
• Air conditioning.
• Cooling production.
• Heating production.
• Hydraulic and electromechanical installations.
• Proficiency in handling tools and measuring equipment.
• Availability to work shifts (morning and afternoon), with on-call duties every 5 weeks.
• Responsible, resourceful person with the ability to work as part of a team.

• RITE license and Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) training (60 hours) are valued.
• Boiler operator license (highly valued)

Maintenance Technician for a hospital, with experience in technical facility maintenance and the ability to work on critical continuous-operation systems.

The position requires the ability to diagnose faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure the correct functioning of hospital facilities, guaranteeing service continuity.

Main functions

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of air conditioning, heating, and cooling production facilities.
• Supervision and operation of technical rooms, thermal sub-stations, and production equipment.
• Inspection of chillers, heat pumps, boilers, air conditioners, fan coils, pumps, valves, and hydraulic networks.
• Diagnosis and resolution of electrical and electromechanical faults in facilities.
• Verification of operating parameters, consumption, temperatures, pressures, and alarms.
• Work on electrical panels, maneuvering, and control of low-voltage installations.
• Support in small plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance repairs.
• Completion of work reports, maintenance logs, and technical rounds.
• Compliance with safety and quality protocols and applicable regulations in a hospital environment.
