Nice to have

Valuable education: Professional internships in law firms, notary offices, in-house legal departments of companies, or in the Administration and public bodies.
Previous experience: Desirable experience, but not essential (open to junior profiles).

The role

At Veolia España, we are looking to hire a Lawyer reporting to the Head of Legal Counsel for the northern zone for our offices in Zamudio, Bizkaia.

What you'll do

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive management and support in public tenders: Planning, coordination, and preparation of bids for public tenders, ensuring legal compliance in all phases of the process.
Analysis of tender specifications and business advisory: Resolution of legal inquiries regarding tender specifications and providing direct legal advice to commercial teams during the submission of bids and information requests.
Drafting of risk notes and appeals: Preparation of legal risk notes for bids and drafting of claim and appeal documents, especially in administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings.
Drafting and review of commercial contracts: Study, drafting, and review of all types of civil and commercial contracts (works, services, leases, NDAs) linked to the business activity, as well as the control of their subsequent execution.
Procedural monitoring and promotion: Coordination, promotion, and continuous monitoring of all administrative files, submitted bids, signed contracts, and ongoing claims.
