The role

At Wetaca, we have created a new way of cooking: we make homemade food so that eating well is an easy and accessible routine.

For our production plant in Villaverde, Madrid, we are looking to hire an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance team and contribute to keeping our facilities and production lines running safely, efficiently, and continuously.

We are looking for an autonomous person, with a good ability to diagnose and resolve breakdowns and with the desire to participate in the improvement of our facilities and processes.

What you'll do

You will be part of a two-person maintenance team and will report directly to the Maintenance Engineer. During your shift, you will work autonomously and in coordination with the Production technicians.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, production lines, and facilities.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic breakdowns.

  • Perform installations, adjustments, and setup of machinery.

  • Supervise and maintain the electrical equipment and automatic systems used in the production process.

  • Work alongside the Production team to reduce downtime and guarantee process continuity.

  • Identify recurring problems and propose technical improvements that increase the reliability and efficiency of the equipment.

  • Maintain order and the correct use of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.

  • Comply with the safety, hygiene, and food safety procedures established in the plant.

We are not just looking for someone to come and fix breakdowns. We want you to be able to understand the origin of problems, work autonomously, and contribute ideas to improve how we do things.
