What we're looking for

We are looking for a person with a university degree in Engineering and a solid professional career in industrial environments, with more than 15 years of experience in plant engineering, industrial installations, or factory investment projects.

It will be fundamental to have proven experience in industrial project management, as well as in the management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams. We especially value the ability to act as a technical interlocutor with clients and to lead technical and economic proposals.

High knowledge of regulations applicable to industrial environments and a high level of English (minimum C1) are required.

Nice to have

Experience in BIM environments applied to industry and previous experience in multinational consultancies or engineering firms will be positively valued.

The role

At WSP, we are consolidating a leading team in the design and management of Power & Energy projects, a strategic, expanding, and highly competitive sector. We are looking to bring on a professional with proven experience, decision-making capacity, and business vision to lead this market within our Plant Engineering business line.

You will lead the Plant Engineering area, both in its strategic definition and its operational and commercial development. You will be the reference person for the Plant Engineering team, driving its growth and positioning within the industrial market.

You will have a key role in defining the area's strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and directing complex industrial projects. Additionally, you will act as the primary interlocutor with clients, guaranteeing technical, operational, and business excellence in all projects.

What you'll do

You will have the responsibility of defining the strategy for the Plant Engineering area, aligning it with business objectives and ensuring its sustainable development.

Additionally, you will lead the technical team, managing its structure, the onboarding of new profiles, and their professional development. You will supervise the planning, execution, and closing of industrial projects, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines, costs, quality, and safety.

You will be the person responsible for the relationship with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty, and you will participate actively in business acquisition through the preparation and leadership of technical and economic proposals.

You will also coordinate the various technical disciplines involved in the projects and ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, and quality standards, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the area.
