Laundry Attendant

• Experience in similar positions in housekeeping, linen, or hotel operations departments.
• Basic knowledge of textile organization and classification.
• Teamwork skills.
• Order, attention to detail, and cleaning and hygiene habits.
• Responsible, methodical person, with the ability to work in an organized and decisive manner.
• Availability to work rotating shifts: one week on the morning shift and one week on the afternoon shift.

We are currently looking to hire a Linen Attendant for our Palace Alcúdia hotel.

• Control the delivery of soiled linen by the chambermaids, performing the corresponding registration.
• Send soiled linen to the laundry and receive clean linen.
• Review and control incoming and outgoing delivery notes.
• Register shortages and report any detected incidents.
• Control staff clothing (delivery and reception via voucher together with Intervention).
• Prepare linen carts for the following day following the instructions of the Assistant Housekeeper.
• Manage the distribution of cleaning products and complete the required records.
• Control the incoming and outgoing stock of all items in the department.
• Wash and iron aprons, cloths, mops, linens, curtains, etc.
• Maintain the linen room and warehouse in perfect order and cleanliness.
• Control the operation and condition of the washing machine and dryer room.
• Review the state of conservation of the linen and keep a record of damages.
• Control guest clothing that is sent to the dry cleaner.
• Receive and deliver tablecloths for bars and restaurants.
• Collaborate in any other task assigned by the Housekeeper.
