At BOSLAN Part of Accenture, we are in a period of full growth and we are looking for a Technical Director of Substations and HV Lines, to carry out the duties of technical management within framework contracts with utilities in the electricity sector.

They will be the technical representative of the developer on-site, guaranteeing compliance with the project, current regulations, and the quality, safety, environment, and planning requirements defined by the client. They will ensure proper coordination with contractors and competent authorities.

The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as a technical director of substation and line projects and will join the T&D Substations work team of the BOSLAN Generation and Networks Unit to carry out activities such as:

• Assuming Site Management.
• Carrying out periodic site visits.
• Drafting and signing setting-out certificates.
• Resolving site contingencies, issuing instructions in the Site Log and Attendance Book as appropriate.
• Approval of the quality plan, testing plan, and waste management plan.
• Supervising the correct execution of the project in accordance with the approved engineering, licenses, authorizations, and applicable technical regulations.
• Planning and coordination of site agents.
• Verifying setting-out, electromechanical assemblies, and regulatory distances.
• Monitoring compliance with the Health and Safety Plan.
• Drafting reports and managing them through the client's corporate platforms.
• Issuing CFOs

• Knowledge of applicable regulations (ITC-LAT, ITC-RAT, CTE, Structural Code, etc.).
• Knowledge in performing detailed engineering for substations and/or HV lines
• User-level proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.

• Previous experience in project management for ENDESA and knowledge of its specifications.
• Knowledge of regulations and design criteria for HV substations from other electric companies (IBERDROLA, REE, EDP, etc.).
• Knowledge of BIM (Revit, Navisworks)
