  • Degree in social sciences: in Pedagogy, Psychology, Social Work, Social Education (or related). Complementary training in psychosocial intervention, perinatal mental health, childhood, gender, or family intervention in contexts of vulnerability will be valued.

Acción contra el Hambre needs to recruit a Psychosocial Intervention Technician, to collaborate in the development of the Social Action area strategy in Spain for the development of the Tejiendo Vínculos program, an initiative oriented towards strengthening the mother-child bond, promoting positive parenting, and favoring the personal autonomy and life project of incarcerated persons with children under the age of three.

The general objective of this position is to implement the psychosocial intervention activities planned in the program, guaranteeing the technical quality of the actions related to the strengthening of the mother-child bond, loving and sensitive care, and personal autonomy and life project development.

Additionally, to accompany and provide technical assistance to the professionals involved to facilitate the proper adaptation of the intervention model, its methodological transfer, and its sustainability.

What you'll do

The main activities you will carry out are the following:

  • Participate in all phases of the project cycle, including the initial context analysis with the center's team (communication, decision-making, teamwork, and conflict management) and the co-design and continuous adjustment of activities based on the evidence and learnings derived from the intervention.
  • Develop and implement the psychosocial intervention activities of the program with the participants regarding the mother-child bond, loving and sensitive care, perinatal health, personal autonomy, and life project, from an integral approach and in accordance with the model agreed upon with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Perform the monitoring of itineraries through the preparation, application, and periodic review of personalized intervention plans, adapted to the specific needs of each participant.
  • Manage the technical reporting, documentary justification, and verification sources of the program in accordance with the requirements of the donor and the organization, guaranteeing the rigorous and updated recording of information in the established management and monitoring applications.
  • Participate in methodological working groups and in the internal and external coordination spaces of Social Action, contributing to the strengthening of relationships with collaborating entities and the donor, as well as to the capitalization of the program through the identification, documentation, and transfer of good practices.
