The role
Carry out social intervention actions and promote participation in leisure and integration activities for unaccompanied minors and adolescents, in order to enhance their dignity, well-being, and integration into the community. Under the supervision of the Territorial Intervention Manager.
What you'll do
- Provide support in the reception and transfer of minors and adolescents in situations of vulnerability.
- Collaborate in the implementation of the educational program; aimed at minors or adolescents, under the supervision of the social educator and in coordination with the rest of the educational team, carrying out auxiliary, complementary, and support tasks for their work.
- Implement group sessions, in coordination with the rest of the technical team, in order to promote basic skills in minors and adolescents, necessary for their personal and social autonomy.
- Promote the autonomy and self-care of the minors in care.
- Collaborate and accompany minors and adolescents in completing procedures for access to services, resource management, health, educational matters, and others related to the itinerary established by the technical team.
- Provide support in daily routines for minors or adolescents (meals, hygiene, rest, activities).
- Propose, manage, and implement group and individual sports, leisure, and free-time interventions.
- Promote participation in community resources and social networks.
- Manage coexistence in the housing facilities and mediate in conflict situations.
- Record information in internal databases and any others required for program management.
- Provide support in tasks related to the administrative and/or accountability management of the program.
- Provide support in interpretation and, occasionally, in document translation.
- Carry out the necessary procedures for prevention and/or treatment in the healthcare field.
- Provide support in the logistical tasks of reception: supplier management, purchases, invoice collection, expense justification.
- Participate in team meetings, as required.
- Ensure the optimal condition of the facilities and furnishings of the housing resources and care offices; where services are provided.
