The role

Acciona, in its Construction business line, requires the recruitment of two Commissioning Managers for an important Data Center project in the province of Zaragoza.

Mission:

Lead and coordinate the integral Commissioning process of the Data Center facilities, ensuring that all systems and subsystems are designed, installed, tested, and delivered in accordance with client requirements, quality standards, operational reliability, safety, and the established deadlines for the commissioning of the critical infrastructure.

What you'll do

Functions:

  • Develop and implement the project's Commissioning strategy and plan.
  • Coordinate the commissioning activities of mechanical, electrical, BMS, SCADA, fire protection, telecommunications, and other critical systems.
  • Supervise the preparation and approval of procedures, testing protocols, and Commissioning documentation.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, engineering firms, suppliers, and internal teams involved in the commissioning.
  • Verify that the facilities comply with design requirements, applicable regulations, client standards, and project technical specifications.
  • Manage and monitor incidents, defects, and corrective actions detected during the testing and validation phases.
  • Guarantee compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures during all commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the final handover documentation, including test reports, certificates, operation and maintenance manuals, and quality dossiers.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with the client, project management, and other project stakeholders.
  • Support the transition of the facility towards the operational phase, coordinating training and knowledge transfer to the operation and maintenance team.
