ACCIONA, in its Energy business line, is looking to hire a Thermal Projects Specialist Engineer - Energy Services to join the Energy Services area team at its Madrid campus.

  • Carry out technical field visits.
  • Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for thermal installations, primarily medium and high-temperature heating solutions in the industrial sector.
  • Identify energy savings opportunities (ECMs) in existing installations.
  • Prepare calculations for thermal loads, energy balances, energy savings, and equipment sizing.
  • Design schematics and blueprints for thermal installations.
  • Draft technical reports, specifications, and documentation for tenders and proposals.
  • Select equipment and technologies in coordination with suppliers and the purchasing department.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial team in presenting proposals.
  • Support the operations area in the execution and commissioning of installations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding safety, the environment, and installation standards.

What we're looking for

EDUCATION
- Engineering degree (preferably in industrial, mechanical, energy, or physics engineering, or related fields).

- A Master's degree in energy efficiency, thermal installations, or a related field is a plus.
- Certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and/or Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) are a plus.

- Specific training in industrial thermal installations is a plus.


EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the design and development of large-scale thermal installation projects.

- Advanced knowledge of industrial thermal systems, as well as of equipment and suppliers of systems and installations.

- Familiarity with current regulations (pressure equipment, safety and environmental regulations).

- Experience in energy efficiency projects and in the energy services sector (ESCOs) is a plus.

SKILLS
