About the role

ACCIONA, in its Facility Services and Urban Services / Environment business, is seeking a Quality and Environment Technician for its head offices in San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid).

MISSION:

To ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards in assigned contracts, ensuring the proper implementation of management systems, legal compliance, continuous improvement of processes, and technical support for operations to contribute to service excellence and the company's sustainability goals.

What you'll do

FUNCTIONS:

• Ensure the proper implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems in all contracts.

• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.

• Prepare and update procedures, technical instructions, inspection plans, KPI measurement, and service management plans when necessary.

• Monitor indicators, non-conformities, and corrective and preventive actions.

• Identify, interpret, and update applicable environmental and quality legal requirements for each contract, especially those related to the Waste Law (Law 7/2022), monitoring and controlling documentation associated with the various waste managers, as well as aspects related to discharges, soil, SANDACH, among others, at different sites (workshops, warehouses, clean points, etc.).

• Keep the register of legal requirements and evidence of compliance up to date.

• Advise contract managers and operational supervisors on quality, environment, and regulatory compliance matters.

• Participate as technical support in inspections by public administrations.

• Conduct periodic visits to works and contracts, ensuring documentary and operational follow-up.

• Verify the periodic environmental report.

• Coordinate decarbonization and energy transition plans (HVO, electric vehicles, etc.), monitoring associated global objectives.

• Coordinate internal training on quality, environment, good practices, and legislative updates, as well as reinforcement actions on specific matters (Legionella, use of phytosanitary products, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Biology, or similar.
Additional training: Environmental Management Systems, technical training in the industrial branch or related to urban services.
Minimum experience: 2 years performing similar functions, preferably in companies in the services, industrial, or waste management sectors.
Languages: Spanish; other languages are valued.
