We currently have an open position for a Senior Java Developer with Microservices who wants to develop their career at GFT. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person, ready to start and grow in a multicultural, challenging, and motivating environment.
Although they will depend on your profile and experience, in general your main duties would include:
Analyze and program both existing code and from scratch, and maintain software modules of medium complexity, working from detailed requirements and specifications provided orally and in writing.
Review other developers' code and provide improvement suggestions.
Support junior profiles, acting as a point of reference when they need help or support on specific topics.
Help develop prototypes of software modules and applications.
Develop unit tests and take responsibility for unit testing your own code. Consolidate knowledge of all testing and bug tracking tools and templates used within the project.
Participate in different phases of the development lifecycle.
Teamwork.
Communication skills, fostering dynamics that enable the flow of knowledge, with an interest in both learning and teaching.
Proactivity in seeking new solutions and improvements.
