The role

Are you passionate about the world of cooking and do you have experience in community dining? If you are a committed, responsible person who wants to be part of a team dedicated to the well-being of the elderly, this opportunity is for you! A well-known company is looking for a kitchen assistant for community dining at an elderly care center located in Villajoyosa, Alicante.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that daily operations run efficiently and in compliance with food safety and quality standards. Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Setting up the carts with the prepared menus.

- Plating the menus at meal times.

- Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen facilities.

- Compliance with food safety standards (HACCP).

- Support in the preparation of basic foods, such as cutting, peeling, or washing ingredients.

- Replenishment of utensils and materials necessary for service.

- Proper management of the waste generated during the shift.

What are we looking for?

- Belonging to one of the groups supported by the Adecco Foundation: holding a certificate of social exclusion issued by social services, holding a certificate of disability of at least 33%, being a certified victim of gender-based violence, being over 55 years old, being over 45 years old (with at least one year of unemployment), or being a single-parent or large family.

- Previous experience in community dining, preferably in elderly care centers, hospitals, or school cafeterias.

-Availability for immediate incorporation.

-Own vehicle to commute to the workplace.

- Residency in Villajoyosa or nearby towns.

- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to a dynamic environment.

- Proactive attitude and commitment to cleanliness and order.

- Ability to follow instructions and comply with food safety regulations.
