Requirements

What we're looking for

4-5 years of experience in developing and creating APIs with Mulesoft
Technical design and functional understanding of applications
Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technological requirements
Mulesoft: It is the API manager on which developments will be carried out. Knowledge of the API manager "IBM API Connect" will be valued.
API development under REST and SOAP models, and microservices development
API-level security under different policies (apiKey, OAuth,...)
Encryption/decryption under different models (AES256,...)
Programming languages: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA
Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL
Work tools: Eclipse, Maven, GIT, JUnit (testing)

Nice to have

Knowledge of insurance products will be valued

The role

What you'll do

We are looking for an API developer for the IT Development team with skills in communication and interaction between the different IT teams, oriented towards solving technical problems with the teams as required, with a high level of commitment and responsibility at work, and with a desire to take on new challenges. Your main tasks will be related to:

Design and estimation:
- Collaborate with design teams to understand software requirements and estimate development time
- Create flow diagrams, schematics, and technical specifications.
Coding:
- Write code using the programming languages required in the field
- Implement algorithms and data structures to solve specific problems.
Testing and Debugging:
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure the software works correctly.
- Identify and fix errors (bugs) in the code.
Maintenance and Updates:
- Update and improve existing software.
- Resolve performance, capacity, and security issues.
Collaboration:
- Work with other team members, such as designers, analysts, and project managers.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to ensure the consistency and quality of the final product.
Documentation:
- Document the code, creating comments and manuals for future developers, users, and system administrators
