Requirements

What we're looking for

We would love to meet you if you feel passion for commerce, food, and people, and if you have:

University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent).
English or French B2.
Solid experience in catering (hotels, dining halls, catering chains...), with responsibility for the menu, operations, or the results of one or several locations for at least 3 years.
Knowledge of customers and their needs, and a passion for gastronomy.
Fluency with digital tools; we will train you on our internal applications.
Experience in team management.
Transversal and horizontal leadership.
Demonstrable experience in business transformation.

We will value:

Experience in openings, renovations, or expansion of catering locations.
Experience in large-scale retail or in the management of multiple points of sale.
Knowledge of regional Spanish gastronomy and culinary creativity.

The role

If selected, your mission will be to lead the Bistro and Ready Meals concept for Alcampo throughout Spain: defining its gastronomic proposal, driving its expansion, and ensuring it works—and is noticeable—in every store, adapting it to the tastes of each region.

Your main functions will be:

Gastronomic and commercial proposal:

You will constantly identify market evolutions and new catering trends, incorporating emerging activities that are profitable.
You will define the purchasing and procurement strategy aligned with the concept, focusing on fresh and local products.
You will design, together with the stores, the promotional plan and point-of-sale animation actions, ensuring the volume of commercial activity.

Growth and results:

You will build and direct the economic model of the Bistro and will be responsible for its results: customers, sales, margin, profitability, market share, professionalism, and quality.
You will lead the expansion of the Bistro: new openings and hypermarket renovations, adapting the concept to the size and characteristics of each center.
You will define and advise on the choice of equipment and the design of integral spaces (together with Equipment and BIM).
You will implement action plans to achieve results and will define the processes, flows, and work organization that guarantee maximum operational efficiency.
You will explore new growth avenues linked to the concept, such as ready-to-eat meals, consumption solutions for all store formats and customer typologies, and adaptation to geographical areas.

Store operation:

You will accompany 100% of the stores alongside their teams, ensuring compliance with defined policies and providing them with the support they need in their processes.

Team:

You will develop the individual and collective talent of your team.
You will lead, together with Human Resources, the training to professionalize the catering and bistro teams in-store.

External Relations:

You will represent Alcampo and the Bistro in external industry forums as required by your mission.
