Daytime Educational Assistant Telde (3 months)

1322.60 gross euros per month in 14 payments, extra pay in June and December

At this time, Aldeas Infantiles SOS is selecting Daytime Educational Technical Assistants, whose mission will be to live in an SOS Home with a group of boys and girls, as well as with the rest of the educational team of our Village located in Telde. This is a temporary contract with a start date of October 26.

The person will perform childcare duties, whose main responsibilities will be:

- Attend to basic needs such as hygiene, health, nutrition, and sleep of the assigned group of children and adolescents.
- Ensure their safety through direct supervision and monitoring of the rooms where the groups of minors are located, avoiding risk or danger situations and safeguarding protection at all times.
- Collaborate in the administration and monitoring of the medical treatments received by the children and adolescents.
- Know and participate in all educational instruments concerning the group of children and adolescents in order to promote educational guidelines that are necessary and coherent with the rest of the team.
- Ensure that all children feel they are in affective and safe environments.
- Collaborate in the maintenance and care of the home.
- Preparation of menus corresponding to breakfasts, lunches, or dinners.
- Contribute to cleaning and tidying tasks for the maintenance of home hygiene.
- Collaborate with the rest of the people and professionals involved in the daily lives of the children and adolescents.
- Participate in educational meetings.

The schedule is rotating: one week weekends, the following week afternoons, and the following week mornings.

Weekend: 9:30/21:30, Saturday and Sunday.

Afternoon: 14:30/22:00. Monday to Friday.

Morning: 7:30/15:00. Monday to Friday.
