Reporting to the Senior Director Medical Affairs Iberia, this role is responsible for designing, proposing and implementing the strategy and plans for technical and skills training for the different groups within the Spanish affiliate, in line with the business strategies of the different functions, compliance and available budget, ensuring the training of the different groups within the Spanish affiliate, aimed at carrying out quality and effective interaction with their stakeholders based on business objectives and contact channels.

Responsibilities

  • Design, propose and implement the strategy and plans for technical and skills training for the different groups within the Spanish affiliate, in line with the business strategies of the different functions, compliance and available budget.
  • Determine the expected contribution in the workplace as a result of the project or training action and implement KPIs for monitoring.
  • Ensure the updating of content and training materials for the product portfolio at a clinical, pharmacotherapeutic and pharmacoeconomic level, recommending the most agile and effective formats and channels.
  • Identify innovative training products and a portfolio of providers that allow the training plans to be executed with quality and accelerate the training of teams.
  • Ensure the ongoing training of the different groups in line with the evolution and needs of each Business Unit and team.
  • Coordinate training providers and audit the development of the actions.
  • Deliver training -if necessary- on products, key processes, compliance and commercial skills.
  • Implement KPIs that allow diagnoses to be made, measure the impact of training and adjust action plans.
  • Maintain close and continuous contact with the different functions and teams to identify training and development needs and opportunities, both cross-cutting and ad hoc for each team.
  • Maximize synergies with Global Training, Global Compliance and Human Resources, optimizing available resources (content, platforms, projects, etc.).
  • Collaborate with HR in the design and implementation of development roadmaps for each position.
  • Promote benchmarks with other companies in the sector, following market trends, developing strategic networking with providers... in order to anticipate medium-term training needs as well as the most appropriate training channels.

Academic background

Bachelor's degree; a degree in Health Sciences will be valued

Specific knowledge

  • Expert in Training of Trainers
  • Advanced level of English and Spanish
  • Expert in leading and facilitating Groups
  • Communication, coordination and collaboration skills.

Experience

  • +5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Previous experience in Competency Assessment and Development.
