Agricultural Trials Technician

• Degree in agricultural engineering, agricultural sciences, or similar.

• Previous experience in crop management, preferably in fruit trees or intensive crops.

• Knowledge of plant physiology, irrigation, fertilization, and phytopathologies.

• Organizational capacity and ability to work systematically with data.

We are looking for a person with a passion for agricultural innovation, who wants to take on the challenge of managing and supervising experimental trials at our Riudoms farm. Your main objective will be to guarantee data reliability and become the technical reference for this crop within the organization.

• Manage crops and experimental trials on a daily basis: irrigation and fertilization management, detection and treatment of phytopathologies, and other agronomic tasks.

• Collaborate with the agricultural team for the proper functioning of the experimental plots.

• Collect, record, and organize all trial data accurately, ensuring traceability.

• Monitor crop evolution and report incidents or deviations.

• Consolidate technical knowledge regarding strawberry cultivation and provide criteria in decision-making.

• Maintain contact with variety breeders, consultants, and producers to detect best practices and new trends.

• Follow new technologies and methodologies applicable to cultivation and data collection.

• Participate in training and continuous improvement actions to professionalize the task and contribute to the development of the Group.
