The role
What you'll do
- Manage and execute General Ledger (GL) activities, ensuring proper accounting of operations and the integrity of financial information, in close collaboration with department management.
- Coordinate and actively participate in monthly and annual accounting closings, ensuring the reliability of financial information.
- Prepare and review financial statements and annual accounts, ensuring compliance with current accounting regulations.
- Coordinate the preparation of internal and external audits, providing the required documentation and acting as the financial area's point of contact.
- Analyze key financial indicators, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing actions to optimize processes.
- Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient and cross-functional management of financial operations.
- Prepare periodic reports for management and participate in the implementation of new procedures and tools.
- Participate in the preparation of semi-annual inventory counts, ensuring proper verification, reconciliation, and control of stock along with the teams involved.
