Senior R2R Accountant & SSC Specialist – Central Europe

Education: Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in general accounting (GL) and R2R processes in multinational environments.

SSC Experience: Previous experience collaborating with or supervising tasks executed by remote shared services centers (especially India).

Languages: English: C1 Level / Fluent (Essential, primary language for daily work with India and international).

We are looking for a Senior R2R Accountant & SSC Specialist to join a renowned multinational in the automotive sector. In this role, you will be responsible for technical accounting supervision and financial reporting for the Central Europe region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).

You will be the key technical link between global financial management and the Shared Services Center (SSC in India), supervising closings and guaranteeing accounting quality without hierarchical people management responsibilities.

R2R Supervision: Coordinate and review the Record-to-Report cycle operations (General Ledger, bank and intercompany reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and fixed assets) executed by the SSC team in India.

Accounting Closings: Lead monthly, semi-annual, and annual closings together with the SSC managers, complying with corporate calendars.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and validate financial reports, variance analyses, and balance sheets for the Central European subsidiaries.

Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee the application of IFRS/GAAP regulations, group financial policies, and SOX controls.

Audit Support: Liaison and preparation of documentation for external auditors (EY) and support to global financial teams.
