What you'll do

  • Ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations and coordinate prevention management across the different workplaces.
  • Act as an internal reference in matters of Health and Safety, providing cross-functional advice to HR, managers, and the business on prevention issues, workstation adaptations, medical restrictions, sick leave, and return-to-work processes, in coordination with mutual insurance companies, medical services, Legal, and external providers. 
  • Manage complex prevention situations, including coordination with mutual insurance companies, medical services, the Labour Inspectorate, and workstation adaptation processes.
  • Manage general and specific risk assessments, in coordination with the External Prevention Service.
  • Draft, update, and implement safe work procedures, preventive measures, and emergency plans.
  • Coordinate and follow up on corrective measures arising from audits, inspections, or prevention assessments.
  • Lead and coordinate prevention management in operational environments related to workshops, logistics, and the automotive sector, ensuring a practical approach adapted to the operational reality of the business. 
  • Liaise and coordinate with external bodies, audits, external prevention services, and the Labour Inspectorate when necessary.

From AUTO1 Group we are looking for a senior profile to join our In-House - Shared Prevention Service, with proven experience in Occupational Risk Prevention within complex operational environments, capable of providing technical judgment, practical vision, and decision-making ability, ensuring regulatory compliance with a practical, proportionate approach adapted to the operational reality of the business. 

The selected person will work cross-functionally with different operational and corporate areas, taking part in the management of complex prevention situations and acting as an internal reference in matters of Health and Safety.

Requirements

  • Accredited Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all 3 specialisations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in operational, industrial, logistics, or automotive environments.
  • Previous experience managing complex cases with mutual insurance companies, the Labour Inspectorate, medical restrictions, return-to-work processes, and workstation adaptations.
  • Solid knowledge of occupational risk prevention regulations and experience managing complex prevention situations.
  • Independent, proactive profile with professional maturity, technical expertise, and decision-making ability, as well as strong communication skills with different business areas. 
  • Ability to apply prevention criteria in a practical way, adapted to the company's real operations.
  • Ability to prioritise risks and provide balanced solutions between regulatory compliance and operational feasibility.
